Does “Basic training” for SDF consist of Reception week like in traditional military, or does it skip that week?

State Defense Forces do have a reception time allotment during their Initial Entry Training / Basic Training, however it is not a week long. It usually is done at the time of enlistment, during weekend drills prior to Basic Training or the first day of Basic Training.
