The 2nd Brigade of The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) recently marched in the Houston Veterans Day Parade to honor the quarter of a million Veterans that call Houston home. The Color Guard detail was invited by The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8790 to provide colors to honor the Veterans of the city. In attendance was the Mayor of the City, The Commanding General of The 2nd Brigade, Brigadier General Edwin Grantham, a Veteran himself who served in the 3rd Infantry Division, as well as thousands of Veterans who attended the event.
