The Virginia Defense Force (State Defense Force) recently conducted a POD (Point of Distribution) exercise. The exercise involved Defense Force troops setting up staging areas and operations whereby in an emergency situation they can provide citizens of Virginia critical supplies not available to them during a natural disaster. This mission was tasked to the Defense Force by the Virginia National Guard.
