California State Guard honored for continued support of California State Parks

The Commander of the California State Guard (State Defense Force) was recently honored by the California State Parks for the State Guards continued support of their mission.  Major General Jay Coggan was presented the first Maritime Jack flown from a PB47.

On August 15, 2020 Commanding General of the California State Guard, Major General (CA) Jay M. Coggan, accepts the first Maritime Jack flown from PB47 while on mission in support California State Parks, Angel Island. The jack was presented in appreciation of his continuing support of the Maritime Component.

Commander (CA) Kent B. Harrison, Commander of the Maritime Component of the California State Guard, is promoted to Captain (CA)on August 15, 2020 aboard the Clam at Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay. Bravo Zulu, Capt. Harrison.
