Over the last few weeks, troops from the Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) have been donating their time collecting toys for children in need. Over the past weekend they delivered their first donation which included over 400 toys to Grace Charities. Grace Charities is a nonprofit relief organization that provides food, clothing, financial assistance to people & families who struggle with limited income. These toys will be provided to children in need for the upcoming Holidays.
Soldiers from 1BDE 4th Battalion Bravo and Charlie Companies accept and organize toy donations at Burleson and Grapevine Five Below stores during the annual Young Heroes of the Guard Toy Drive.
