Hoosiers serving Hoosiers during Outbreak

The Indiana Guard Reserve (State Defense Force) has been on active duty during the states response to the coronavirus pandemic.  One mission of the Indiana Guard Reserve is to collect, decontaminate and distribute medical equipment and supplies to aid in the effort against the outbreak.

Here are some photos of Guard Reserve troops on mission:

Members of the Indiana Guard Reserve unloaded two semis of donated medical supplies to support the state’s response to COVID-19. The supplies were donated by the Bally Foundation, a non-profit that collects medical equipment for special needs patients. Indiana Guard Reservists sorted, cleaned and prepared the donated medical equipment and supplies in support of Governor Holcomb’s response to COVID-19. The Indiana Guard Reserve is Indiana’s all-volunteer state defense force. More information about the Indiana Guard Reserve is available at in.gov/IGR.
