The Indiana Guard Reserve (State Defense Force) recently assisted in distributing medical supplies in the fight against Covid-19.
Members of the Indiana Guard Reserve assisted in packaging and distributing thousands of donated face shields while supporting Indiana’s fight against COVID-19.Lt. Col. Julian Ungar-Sargon coordinated donations of 2,000 protective face shields and other items to the Indiana State Department of Health and Homeland Security to be distributed throughout the state.This is the second mission where Guard Reservists helped distribute medical supplies for use in Governor Eric Holcomb’s efforts to fight the coronavirus.The Indiana Guard Reserve regularly assists in supporting domestic missions and community support activities.The Indiana Guard Reserve is Indiana’s all-volunteer state defense force.
