First Lieutenant Matt Epstein of the California State Guard (State Defense Force) was recently interviewed on the Future Firefighters Podcast to discuss the California State Guards Wildland Firefighting Mission. First Lieutenant Epstein is the Company Commander of Team Blaze which is the team responsible for fighting wildland fires.
