Sergeant Alyssa Sawyer of the Tennessee State Guard (State Defense Force) was recently awarded the Tennessee State Guard Life Saving Ribbon for her actions while off duty. Sergeant Sawyer witnessed an auto accident and quickly responded to assist the victims of the crash.
Prior to joining the Tennessee State Guard, Sergeant Sawyer also served in the US Army.
Sergeant Alyssa Sawyer is awarded the TNSG Life Saving Ribbon. SGT Sawyer stopped and assisted auto accident victims until emergency services could arrive. Her actions reflect well on the Tennessee State Guard and the Tennessee Military Department. We’ll Done Alyssa !!!
