The South Carolina State Guard’s (State Defense Force) 2BN-Highlanders, along with units from across the S.C. State Guard, proudly supported the 2024 Cooper River Bridge Run, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to service and community engagement. This year’s event, renowned for being the best organized and conducted 10K race globally, saw nearly 40,000 participants take to the streets in a spectacular showcase of endurance and camaraderie. Special congratulations were extended to the S.C. State Guard Coastal 3BN for their exceptional organization efforts. The Cooper River Bridge Run stands as a pinnacle of world-class competition, set against the unique backdrop of South Carolina’s landscape, fostering unparalleled participant satisfaction and broadening community cooperation in healthy activities throughout the year.
