A new class recently graduated from the Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) Basic Orientation Training (BOT) & Direct Commission Officer Orientation Course. Congrats to the new Officers.
Some of the newest service members of the Texas State Guard completed training in Basic Orientation Training (BOT) and Phase II of the Direct Commission Officer Orientation Course at Camp Swift recently and are now ready to serve the great State of Texas. Well done to all graduates and cadre who were a part of the training and graduation.
Major General Robert Bodisch, Texas State Guard Commanding Officer, addresses 33 Basic Orientation Training Graduates and 21 Direct Commission Officer Phase II participants during their last training cycle. “Look out for each other. Keep yourself physically and mentally fit. Always be ready because there is no telling what the next mission might be,” he said. “Reach out and develop yourself. We have done a tremendous amount of work to develop our professional military education…keep doing the good jobs that you are doing, bring honor to Texas, and honor to the Texas State Guard.”
