Texas State Guard 2nd Brigade Competes in Field Training Exercise

The 4th Battalion, 2nd Brigade of the Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) recently spent their monthly drill competing in a Search & Rescue Field Training Exercise. Multiple teams were organized with the goal of locating casualties, providing lifesaving first aid and evacuating them to safe zones. They hold some of the most qualified Search & Rescue teams in the country, from woodland Search & Rescue to Maritime Search & Rescue.
